Baseball summer plans: JV team Ironwood Ridge, Mountain View and Catalina Foothills combined to make a summer team. Three teams will be on a free agent team. Varsity American Legion, registration information sent to selected players 18 total players due to vacation and players not able to play Playing two tournaments Jersey (name/number) and hat at players cost Team name “Oro Valley Nighthawks” Practice TBD, 3 games a week. For players that were invited to play Players advise Coach T whether you will be play summer ball by May 1 Weight training is pending. Possibly 2x a week starting at 0600. Updates will be provided by Coach T.. From the Boosters: April 18 - Senior night, Celebrate Caleb after the MV home game. JV, please come support Caleb if your game ends early. Gina Garcia will coordinate a small gift to be presented to the MV seniors prior to the game starting. April 19 - Second team breakfast at 0730 in the school cafeteria. All players are welcome to join. Parents sign up will be posted via email. This is parent donations, we appreciate any support you can provide. . April 19 - The Varsity boys will receive a paid meal on the way back from the Buena game. May 4 - End of the year banquet at Whiskey Roads Please complete the pre-order form. If you didn’t receive one, contact Brandi Montgomery. Players and Coaches meals will be covered by the Boosters. Parents/family members will be $20 per person if eating from the preselected menu. Any separate orders (kids meals, alcohol, dietary reasons) will not be covered by the Boosters. PLEASE pay your tab! All meal order forms need to be returned to Brandi Montgomery by April 19 Banquet payments can be sent via Zelle ([email protected]), check or cash and due April 19 (Andrea will collect for Varsity and Tina will collect for JV) May 6 - Boosters - Board Elections- School Lecture Hall – All positions open If you want to nominate yourself for the Executive Board, please complete the form provided and return to Rhonda Sissac by April 19. Team Funds Approximately 10K will be carried over for next season. Any questions on fundraising, please feel free to ask questions. Angel Young and Jeff McGee are the board's current treasurers. Cameras (Mevos) will be returned due to WIFI connection. The funds will be returned to the Booster bank account.
